It was a good start to the day which soon went downhill with waves of agonising pain in one of (my very useful) back molars that has twice been unsuccessfully filled and now needs a root canal job.  The emergency consultation to confirm this is not until Wednesday and goodness knows when the actual procedure will happen.  

Trying to understand university arrangements (as opposed to recommendations) about COVID tests and students travelling home for Christmas is giving me a headache on top.
