West Gate

Not to our estate!.... but the 18thC west entrance to the vast Castle Sempill estate and the Gothic mansion which burned down in 1924 and was demolished 1960. Some parts of the estate are still used and the estate now has RSPB wetlands centre, a normally busy water sports centre and cafe (closed in the present lockdown) and many pleasant lochside walks
We managed a wee drive today within the County before the heaviest rains closed in
