Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo

These birds can grow to 70 cm (over 2'); they are prominently black feathered with yellow tail panels and yellow ear patch. Native to South-Eastern Australia. They make a "loud sad wailing" sound....they are brilliant....I went for the black and white background as the colour of the sky and gum trees were quite distracting....
