Beavers

Tonight my eldest son was invested in to beavers. Due to lockdown it was done a little bit differently, via zoom. They all met online and said their Beaver welcome. Once this was done, the children being invested were moved to another virtual room where they had a chat with Woodpecker, who taught them the promise and why they were saying it. Back to the main group for a fun quiz, then he did his promise over zoom. The beaver leader had dropped his badges and necker off earlier that day (socially distanced of course!), so once he had made his promise, I surprised him with his necker. He was so pleased. He absolutely loves beavers! My youngest son can't wait to join when he is old enough to do so.
