Golden

A beautiful day, with glorious golden light at each end of it.

There are some gorgeous young silver birches dotted amongst the young oaks on the reclaimed wasteland which I regularly visit and this features one of them which has lots of leaves left.  It's a real wildlife haven and I think I've seen more small birds this year than ever (although that could be down to having more time to observe during lockdown.)

Unfortunately, any given shot is hampered by scrubby grasses and in other places, rampant brambles, which doesn't make for a pleasant foreground, so a bit of creativity is required.
