Birthday

Celebrating is harder than it used to be. We are becoming conditioned to a much quieter, simpler style.

It was lovely to see a bit of glitzy glamour when we went for lunch. The birthday boy filled his boots with 400g ribeye steak. More red meat than zi've had all year was on his plate. A simpler plate of fish for me.

The morning was filled with video catchups with all our precious people.

A good day has been had I think, but I do wish he would open the sweeties.
