Mackerel Sky at Cley
I was getting ready this today to paint a wall tomorrow behind a display unit, but that meant boxing up all the items in the unit which took longer than I expected. This afternoon I went out for a short trip to Cley, parking in the village hall car park and walking down to the windmill to take some photos. There were lots of people out walking today in the sunshine.
Day 252 / Day 18 of Lockdown 2 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 398 to 55,024 (revised basis), with 18,662 new cases, 16,390 patients in hospital and 1,421 on ventilation (another error in yesterday's dashboard - shocking how unreliable it is). New cases in France seems a lot more under control now. 'Additional household bubbling' will be allowed for a few days over xmas, details to follow. The antibody drug Regeneron has received emergency approval in the US despite studies being ongoing on its effectiveness and safety - it was given to Trump when he was ill. Some in the Press are saying the second wave has now peaked - I think this is not necessarily true and suspect it will be a temporary breather due to lockdown before going up again, given we're only just about to go into Winter.
