And who is this?

Is it a buzzard? I'm really bad with birds of prey, I'm afraid. I have so many books and I still can't keep them apart (or only with difficulties).

I noticed two doing rounds above me when I was standing next to the apple tree (extra). If they like apples, there's plenty of them still on this tree. While I was watching this one it dived down to the ground and came back with something big. Bigger than a mouse, I think and I wonder what it was. I watched a big chunk of it fall down - perhaps not as tasty?
