Mimi at the Top

We are headed back to Calgary for Christmas and some “essential services”. The premiere of British Columbia has proposed a “border closure” due to covid so there is a strong possibility we won’t get back to our beloved cabin afterward.

We made one last (socially distanced) dash up Mount Baldy with some friends. A week ago we had a picnic in the sunshine at the top. Yesterday we tromped through the snow, had a quick look at the view and slip slided our way back down.

We then spent the day cleaning up and packing up in case we can’t come back. I’m really hoping it’s a temporary seasonal closure! We’ve been here pretty much full time for 2-1/2 years. It will be weird being back in the city full time!
