In Search Of Dust

I have been watching His Dark Materials based on the books by Phillip Pullman (I must admit I have read two of the books but not the final one). One of the main themes is the search for an entity called Dust and what it actually means. This image appears to be full of actual dust particles but is just the electric fire in our sitting room - but if you really squint you could imagine a range of mountains in an alternative world!!
