Lockdown 2.17 - The New Arrival

I received a box today. Nothing unusual. I get numerous boxes delivered throughout the week. Most are because of my frequent online shopping. But this one looked different.

I opened it and discovered a bag of lovely looking Christmas gifts from a dear friend. She’s very organised and punctual! Most I left wrapped up for Christmas, but this guy was desperately trying to get out of his wrapping, so I helped free him! And I’m so glad I did! Isn’t he gorgeous?? I have a whole collection of Santas and Gnomes so he’s a wonderful new addition. I’ll have to blip them all one day. He was just in time to help me with today’s project - getting started on my Christmas wrapping.

In other news - I did a Covid test this morning. I’m not unwell - I was randomly selected to take part in some research, and I agreed. It was no fun self-administering the test and I hope I did it right. It was picked up by a courier a couple of hours later.

It was a grey day, though warmer and no rain. It felt like another blah day. Little Santa cheered me up!
