Forbidden vistas
This castellated part of the promenade ‘hath a pleasant seat’. The sunshine was most welcome. The beach, at low tide was very busy but as always at this time of the tide there was plenty of space for us all ( and all those dogs!)
For weeks we have looked north across to Fife and commented on not being able to travel there under current Covid restrictions. Today the East Lothian beaches and uplands, clearly visible in my Blip, are now also strictly out of bounds to us. Covid has imprisoned us within Edinburgh’s city boundary. We begin to realise just how small a city Edinburgh actually is!
The highlight of our day was the FaceTime call from our grandchildren. What a life line these video calls are proving to be!
