Jiminy Chickadee?

This black-capped chickadee reminded me of a Disney film released in 1940 titled “Pinocchio” in which Jiminy Cricket sang these lyrics:

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

Our friends in Denmark, Finland, Japan, Norway and Sweden play this song at Christmas time • It’s ranked 7th in American Film Institute’s 100 Greatest Songs in Film • The Library of Congress preserved this song in the National Recording Registry in 2009 • Who knew this little cricket would reach such fame or this little song would touch the hearts of so many • When we all look up at the same sky tonight, let’s all make a wish.
