Christmas Cake!!

I set off on my bike today loaded up with a spade and a hydrangea!  I arrived safely at my local park for volunteer gardening at The Physic Garden.  However the weather was against us and we got caught in showers of freezing rain.
After I had warmed up we got the Christmas cake made.  The fruit had been soaked in sherry for a day and was smelling wonderful.  Smithy the cat was keen to help, he likes family events like this and helped with the spices.
