I took my car out for the first time since 11 October.

We decided to try a change of scenery for our daily exercise and, after filling up with petrol, we headed over to one of the wildlife trust nature reserves for a socially-distanced walk and a tuna sandwich, flask of tea and cinnamon whirl.

When we returned to the car we could hear shouting from the adjacent field. Instructions were being given to the sheepdog which did an excellent job of rounding up the flock and marshalling them down the lane.

Another walk nearer home late afternoon - the moon was rising above the Black Brook (see extra).
