Ada

This is Ada Poole, one half of the entertainment duo Jeavon & Jena who graced UK theatres in the early 1900s...and who is my children's great great great grandma!

We took a drive out to Birkin today where Jonny grew up and where generations of his family had lived too - most of whom are buried in the church.

I was going to post a photo of the church and graves, but instead decided to post this photo of Ada looking completely gorgeous and very much alive.

I'd love to have met and seen Jeavon & Jena (Ada and Joseph) perform. It might also explain where my children get their 'dramatic' tendencies :)
