Camellia Sansanqua - Shishigashira
This beauty started blooming at the end of November and still has a few buds left to flower. I have her in a pot on my covered deck, so the blooms always look good, the rain rarely gets to them. This species of Camellia originated from Southern Japan. It is evergreen with shiny leaves. This particular blossom is 3 1/2 inches across. Every garden should have at least one, I have two.
