Sunset Coup

Late this afternoon I went for a walk with the camera.  It was unseasonably warm and it was nice to get out of the office for a bit after a busy morning.  The sky was overcast but I thought I had a pretty good blip of the sun trying to shine through the clouds on its way to the horizon. (see extra). Then this happened about about an hour later.  As the sun dipped below the horizon the whole sky got orange and pink! I had to get the camera out again and add a few more snaps to the day.  Sunsets are often an easy go to, especially this time of year, but this one was too good to pass up for the blip and so it unseated the earlier front runner. This image has very little processing.  The colors are as the camera captured them. It was stunning!
