Starling in the rain

It's been drizzly and then rainy all day so I've been doing some housework. It has to be said that given the choice between being out for a walk or in the garden versus housework that there is no contest.  Also there are no visitors which encourages me to get on with it (apart from F and he wouldn't notice or care). 

There have been plenty of garden visitors today - all the varieties of tit, blackbirds, goldfinches and this starling. My next door neighbours have put food on their shed roof and the starling was having a feeding break on my hawthorn tree.
