Mushroom Picking

Mushroom picking on the airfield at the Gliding Club today with Jules. She’s been foraging all her life and knows all about the varieties to pick and the ones to avoid.

Mushrooms cooked in butter tonight were delicious. Plenty more chopped up in the freezer and a dozen donated to my friend who likes making stews.
