Broken Hill

Our one and only stop on the trip was cut short due to the train hitting a roo during the night and amazingly the roo managed to hurt the great big train.......damage to the air breaks meant we were a couple of hours behind schedule......so the planned 3 hours in Broken Hill ( and tour of the mines ) was cut down to a quick 20 minute dash from train to town and pick up a paper and back on the train because " we will leave without you"

Arrived in Adelaide and straight to hotel and then to the Wheatsheaf Pub ( I know it's Andreas birthday trip but she told me she wanted to go too....)

Excellent pub, very friendly people ( Adelaide in general) and great beer!

First day in Adelaide.....Done!
