Happy Max

Max has been very relaxed and happy this past week, unlike Sam, who's been cranky and having trouble sleeping. It's crazy because a few weeks ago, they were opposite. I had a bit of a cranky day myself, a mixture of sleep deprivation, feeling frustrated about Sam being cranky, and feeling down about the pandemic and the holidays which won't be the same.
But then I saw a quote that resonated with me: "The days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations are good days." I still have much to be thankful for.
