End of the week

Another busy day. Big meeting this morning. I had redeveloped a key paper to summarise these difficult times. First airing today, and it was well received. This afternoon I had my appraisal, which went very well. We talked about where I wanted to be, and I mentioned a theory I have around cognitive dissonance and it's relationship to my work. I may end up pursuing a PHD in future as I'd like to publish to move safety work a bit further. Some of the current main emphasis is not leading to the change needed, as it isn't helping those at the centre of errors to seek out system change, and I find that frustrating.
