Reed bed

There is a small area of reed bed beside the ponds (probably once part of the ponds) which unfortunately often gets burned in the spring so limiting nesting. However, it does grow back and the birds make use of it later in the year, as was evident today when I ran past on a short run.
It was a grey, damp sort of day so a good one to get some housework done and some more photo sorting.
