a chilled shop

A local pub in the next village (which has no shop) has become what they call a chilled shop. They cook a selection of their usual dishes daily and then chill them for you to later finish them off in your own oven. Fresh and tasty, they are famed for the best pizzas so that was our takeaway. They also sell their homemade bread and ice cream, dangerous for me to call in too often !  The businesses that show this sort of flexibility and invention deserve to prosper when they can open normal hours again. They may also have found new good profitable ways to serve the community that can continue.
