A fabulous day ...

At West Midlands Safari Park. It really is a great place - small and friendly - easy to get to and with plenty to do.
We were very lucky today (we being myself and my 3, and Lydia's friend Lauren, who is a lovely girl), the animals were on top form and the cars were few and far between.
We stroked and fed giraffe, various antelope types and zebra.
We were tolerated by the camels who mostly just stood in the way!
Our favourites by far were the addox ... Who met us at the cattle grid as if border control and who inspected through our windows, quite thoroughly! As you looked ahead up the road they continued to space themselves along the road as in a long line of ticket inspectors and THEY ALL did a very thorough job!!
Excellent day only dampened by early closing of donut shop :-(
Kitten fell in the bath this evening though so that made us giggle ...
(Kitten is fine and enjoying time in front of the fire...)
