Strangely blue

Not me, the photo! I tried to upload it a couple of times but it has still taken on this strange hue. Oops! The strange colour has disappeared upon publishing.

Anyway, in better news, it was my birthday yesterday! And a very jolly day it was, too, even though I had to drive to Forestside in Belfast twice, once to collect the Ards Man and bring him home and then back again to take delivery of his car. Phew! This was a continuation of the swiftly-flying-stone-striking-the-windscreen saga. Hopefully sorted now.

I got more birthday cards than usual, I think. Folk are very kindly sending ‘snail mail’ these days and I for one definitely appreciate getting post! Some pals dropped by to present socially distanced gifts, which was so lovely. A very pleasant birthday!
