Morning/Afternoon

The oak tree at the bottom of the garden looked beautiful this morning in the early morning light. However, by three o’clock it was raining and getting dark. Made a Spiced Ginger cake for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. I will ring her before I go to tell her that I will leave it in the porch. Difficult times for birthdays.
