Farewell To The Rose

Today the temperature has fallen sharply. I still have quite a few buds left on two bushes but I wonder if they will survive. 

This one is very old, here when we moved in. It was diseased so we cut it back to the ground and it rewards us every year with an abundance of deep magenta flowers. 

As I think they are nearly over for the year, I couldn’t resist including my standard rose in extras.
