Waiting in the Dark

Persey was lurking up near the ceiling in the dark this morning at the top of his cat tree. Darkness has returned. The sunsets at 4:38 p.m. EST this afternoon!
Summer really is over. Persey is not allowed outside at night. Fearsome creatures lurk for him in the dark. And all the birdies are asleep then, too.
