Our five mile world

Dry bones picked clean

Many months ago, I noticed the body of a young roe deer lying at the side of our stubble field. There were no obvious signs as to why he had died.

Over the ensuing months, I have watched with curiosity as his body has slowly decayed ,providing sustenance for foxes, crows, buzzards, and insects until finally, this is the result.

Mother Nature rocks!
