Cherry Blossom in November

This is a picture of Cherry Blossom in the garden. I didn't blip this for its artistic merit, I blipped it because it is the 19th of November! What is the Cherry Blossom doing out in November? I associate Cherry Blossom with spectacular displays in  April/May, this exactly 6 months out. Perhaps the poor wee thing is confused by climate change?
