Creative street
I did an online Zoom course on Creative Composition with Simon Ellingworth of Amersham Studios today.
He gave us some excellent pragmatic ideas on how to approach photography showing us examples of his personal projects since all his other work is commercial.
So I've taken on board that it's an extremely good idea to take three shots of a scene often varying settings and viewpoints before deciding on which is the final shot. That, and setting the ten second timer on the camera and adjusting position before the shutter goes off aiming to make the best capture. That and slowing down, not using the viewfinder and taking shots at ground level. Of which today's image is an example.
Getting the platypod and the Fuji remote app in on the act, certainly renders a different perspective although I need to put a lighter lens on the x-t3 or else it topples over.
This is all about taking photos that please me. Street photography doesn't get accepted in camera club competitions.
