Snow!

All night the rain was beating against the bedroom window but as it got light outside it went quiet. Getting up a little later I opened the curtains to find the ground white(ish) and snow blowing against the window.
In the day it warmed up slightly and the snow at village level melted away but on the nearby hills, not that much higher up, the snow remains.
As we walked our usual walk down to the lake the sun broke through the clouds. It didn't reach us but it illuminated this nearby hilltop rather nicely.
