Abstract Thursday: "Mono"

For this week's theme, we were told we could interpret mono as "black and white or black and one colour or white and one colour". 

This started off as a photo of tree tops, taken with my 600mm mirror lens out of focus so the image is made of of its signature "doughnut" bokeh. I converted it to black and white, colourised it a rich red, inverted the image and applied a "pinch" distortion.
