New Life
A recurring theme for me this year but also reflecting my passion for growing things. A week or so ago I sowed a few Sweet Pea seeds, saved from the Norwich garden at the end of 2019. They're plenty hardy enough to be kept outside or in a cold frame here until being planted out in early spring. An early sowing like this should give earlier flowers and was especially relevant in Norfolk where hot dry summers often saw the plants going over before time. That should not be a problem here in the west but I will plant some more in Spring to try and ensure that I can enjoy their scent from May until Autumn next year.
A productive day after a slow start. Admin, some loft insulating, a couple of hours at work. Tilda brought her folding bike and this afternoon with Jamie on his handbike they enjoyed a ride out in the late afternoon sunshine. Ginger cookies are now in the oven so I think Jamie can mark this as a good day too :-)
An extra pic of the works train at Wharf station tonight. They arrived back in the last light as I started work but this was taken later as I did my rounds locking up.
