In other news - out of 2761 public nominations submitted for Royal Philharmonic Society Awards - Community Choir Choirmaster C - was commended for the Inspiration Award - as was Gareth Malone - C has kept the choir going through 39 weeks of lockdown by having Zoom singing sessions - a private Facebook page - where anything goes - quizzes - and now has us recording Christmas songs in the privacy of our own homes - festive dress optional - which will be turned into videos - to be distributed to care homes

The choir also supports small local charities -within the
last couple of weeks - so far £1338 has been raised by choristers sponsoring a Christmas song -so glad to be a part of this group - go C!
