We have our monster planning permission sign up now on the garden gate. Anyone can now go to the town hall, in person, and see the drawings of our house and what we plan to do to it. It's all paper based so rather a pain. While the council has approved the work, it's now open to the public to complain - the opposite way round to the UK - so we do have to wait a little longer. Though we weren't planning on starting this year anyway.
