The Monument.

This is 'The Monument' up Coombe hill. We can see it from our upstairs. It's dedicated to the men of Buckinghamshire who fell in the Boer war. One day I will do one of my 'Then and now' pictures of it, rather than through a lens ball.

It's a very popular place to walk, more so since lockdown. We've been going up there for 47 years with our dogs, children and even by horse. I just love it.

Another great coffee morning with camera club this morning. These have been quite a highlight in my week since lockdown back in March. I've learnt so much with the help that's been freely shared, and got to know people better with our little chats.

Dropped off the Christmas jumpers at Jodie's, so lovely to glimpse Louis, he's a real smiler.
