Gruffalo Cave

After a morning spent painting I needed to get out for some air this afternoon.  Deepcliff was already in shade by the time I reached the woodland so I took a short, steep route up to the moor to regain the sunshine.  It has been a proper Autumn day, sunny, crisp and cold, just how I like it.  A local family, who often walk by our house, call this collection of stones the Gruffalo Cave.

I'm looking forward to having our window painted again this weekend!
