Christmas Cactus

Some of you may remember how a few years ago, I was given this cactus by a lady at the bus stop.  It was Christmas eve and I went to pick up a gift from my daughter in Colorado at the main parcel depot. It was cold and wet and I had to catch two buses only to find the depot had recently moved to another location which meant another two buses. I felt so miserable  and another lady who also had tried to collect a parcel, took this cactus out of her bag and said, "Do have this, it may cheer you up, you look so cold." I remember her kindness each year when it flowers. We both collected our parcels after the bus rides and a long walk.
