Onions

S.R. somehow finally managed to visit this afternoon. Owing to the extra 10cm of snow we have been blessed with, and side-roads which are increasingly treacherous, various other plans had been deferred and we were able to discus onions.

S. and S. are building a house from straw bales near Elk and manage to enthusiastically grow vegetables at the same time as S. continues to be a teacher in Warsaw. This year S. is trying to expand their fledgling business and needs to supplement his production. I can't repeat carrots this year, so I'm going to try onions and a few root crops.

I can't wait to see their house start to take shape.
