Say cheese!
Julie and I had a walk around the village today - the same walk I did with Ann yesterday. There were quite a few dog walkers out and about so there was another opportunity to demonstrate social distancing (for humans).
My extra shows a couple of house mates. The boy is 2 years old and the girl is 1. Very smartly attired.
Maureen had to have a Covid swab at Hexham General this morning. Another friend of ours, Carole, took Maureen and Brian to the hospital. On their way home, they called at our house to collect windfalls. I'd picked them this morning. Brian likes to make tarte tatin.
They stayed by their car to see Julie. I sorted out Mum's breakfast and then Julie and I walked.
I mislaid my mobile phone today. It was such a disaster, although I knew it was in the house. When I phoned it, I heard it but then the sound disappeared. I searched all over, but found it eventually on the floor under a chair in the hall. It must have fallen and slid.
It's amazing how such a minor thing can upskittle me sometimes.
There was dramatic light this morning. The skies were dark blue in one direction and the rain stayed there until we came home. This afternoon if just rained and was dark.
