Blackie is back.

This is the only photo I took today.
I spotted the blackbird eating the cotoneaster berries as I was making breakfast. Looks like he has spotted the camera too.
There are plenty, so should last for a few months.

Another dreary day. We have had the lights on most of the time. Still quite warm at 15C but felt colder inside.

We have been enjoying a very interesting programme called Abandoned Engineering, on the Yesterday channel. Absolutely fascinating.

Made the first mince pies today.
The first ones always seem to taste best, especially when still warm.
We had one each with our afternoon cuppa, and then just couldn’t resist having another.
Good job we’re not on a diet!
Don’t think they will last long.
