Here's a winter treat.
 
This is a caramel syrup waffle, a Dutch treat.

One recommended way of eating is to place the waffle on top of a hot cup of coffee allowing the rising steam to gently soften the delicacy.
 
Looks like someone could not wait for the inevitable bowing of the waffle as the butter syrup softens in the middle.
