Staveley Nature Reserve

Quiet and so interesting. I wanted to look at apple trees as I am replacing my veg garden with an orchard of old and interesting fruit trees. The reserve has an orchard of these trees and RIBSTON PIPPIN is there. This variety was bred close by by the vicar of Ribston and I fancy one. They are compact. Fine for a small orchard.
