Winter mode

Masts down, rigging removed and after a wrap in cling film they were put on the racks in the mast store.
The winter stumps have been fitted in their place to support the cover. If this winter looks as though it will get really bad with lots of sleet and snow I may put a secondary cover over as well.
Some measuring before the rigging was removed indicated that the Dyneema shrouds were stretched by 1%. If I could find Young’s modulus for UHMWPE then I could calculate the load......
