who knew a duck - could pose so well - it really ended up being - a fluke is what it was - i hadn’t intended it - i just breezed by - the pond for a quick - looksee because i was out - and the weather ended up - being so much nicer - than i anticipated - and then

i noticed this duck - there he was - just standing there - on a rock in the water - reflecting the colors of fall so well - i grabbed my phone - ‘cuz i hadn’t planned, right? - didn’t have my good camera - and as i sauntered over - i wondered what the odds - were going to be - that he’d still be in that - same pose by the time i got there - i just don’t move as fast - as i used to what - with my mobility issues - so i murmured a quick prayer - and had great joy - since you can see - he held the pose - which made it...
