Walking on Walney.

As, during lockdown the only way to meet anyone is outside I arranged to meet my friend for a walk on Biggar Bank, Walney Island. 

It was very bracing.. a strong wind but luckily not too cold. The tide was in and quite high and it was good to watch the crashing waves. No huge dramatic waves , although I was poised with my camera at times, just in case.

I saw this couple silhouetted and I was just focussing on  them when this small murmaration of birds (?starlings) swooped into view.  A quick click from me and they swooped away.

A very blustery walk but it was good to meet up and we got our 'take away' coffees  and sat in our cars , parked alongside each other , doors open and chatted.
