Early morning on the Lincolnshire Wolds

Went out early as the weather was beautiful and got lots of shots but think this was amongst my favourites. Don't know why one of the ducks/geese is wearing a collar. Maybe she is married or destined for the pot!
Anyway after this the day went pearshaped. I have been having a few eye problems for 2 days and to cut a long story short have got a detached retina and must be at Leicester Hospital tomorrow at 8am for an operation. All to do with the aging process I was told. Hardly encouraging.
Leicester is 2 hours away so had better get to bed early for a dreadfully early start and what will be a long day.
